The first pictures of the Vintage Collection Luke Skywalker as Jedi Knight have appeared from Hasbro’s display at Comic-Con.

I started listening to two Star Wars collecting podcasts recently and really enjoy them. I had previously listened to other Star Wars related podcasts but neither of them kept my interest. These two are new and have definitely kept me listening.

The first is ‘This Week in Star Wars‘ done by fellow DCSWCCer Matt Fox. He trolls the web so you don’t have too. Its a short and concise podcast about all things Star Wars.

The second is the ‘Chive Cast, The Star Wars Collectors Archive Podcast, geared towards vintage collecting. Skye and Steve host the show and have talked about numerous topics related to vintage collecting.

Just received the UPS notification that my Sideshow “There will be no bargain” diorama has shipped.

Just received the Hot Toys Chubby Luke set. This set contains three nesting dolls of Luke. The smallest is Luke Farmboy, the middle is Luke Bespin and the largest is Luke Jedi.

Sideshow Collectibles has announced a ‘Luke vs Rancor’ polystone diorama which will be available for preorder on 9/10/09.

UPDATE: You can now pre-order this item. The ‘exclusive’ version includes an additional hand holding a Gammorean Guard that you can swap with the hand holding Luke Jedi. Release date is 2nd Qtr 2010 and costs $229 for the regular version and $249 for the exclusive version.
